PFA assists local governments, other public entities and non-profits with their financial planning, capital management, and debt structuring functions. As independent financial advisors, we meet the needs of our clients in an independent, non-underwriting environment. Our firm has experience in planning, structuring and managing tax-exempt and taxable financings for public issuers of all kinds. PFA manages debt transactions and also develops extensive financial strategies and transaction design as well as implementation plans. We have provided these services to issuers in the following fields:

PFA is a member of the National Association of Independent Public Finance Advisors (NAIPFA), an organization of financial advisory firms which are not affiliated with broker/dealers or investment managers. PFA is the only NAIPFA member in Alabama. In addition, NAIPFA has designated Phil Dotts and Marcie Porter as Certified Independent Public Finance Advisors (CIPFA).
