Jessie Weems

In early 2008 Public FA, Jessie Weems became PFA director of Information Technology. He is responsible for the computer systems, their servers, as well as remote access and keeping Public FA ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving Technology realm. Jessie allows us to implement solutions that allow PFA to fully utilize technology to ease workflow which enables PFA to operate more smoothly and effectively.

Jessie Weems is also the owner of Dynamic Networking Solutions in Decatur, Alabama. Jessie has been active in the Information Technology field for the last 10 years.

Before joining Public FA, Jessie worked in various areas of IT. Jessie worked for ITC DeltaCom in the LAN/STAT group. His team was responsible for 12 states along the eastern coast. The work for ITC ranged from Large Cisco WAN implementations to Multi site Active Directory domain administration. Before that Jessie worked as a Microsoft Networking MCSE instructor at Virginia College. In that capacity he worked with some of the most talented people he has ever met. He thoroughly enjoyed teaching and it soon became a passion. While he no longer teaches at a college, he does teach continuing education classes for the Decatur city school system. He teaches “Intro to Windows Vista”, “Networking fundamentals”, and “Computer and Internet Security”. He likes to joke, “If you ever want to hear a very passionate geek ramble about technology for a few hours, please come down to Decatur and sign up for one of my classes.”

Jessie enjoys learning about new technology that advances him both professionally and personally. Jessie spends time with his fiancée Kelly and her cat Angel, A.K.A. “Kitty”. He says that Kelly is awesome in every way possible and that he is blessed to have someone that puts up with him and all of his “geekyness”.
