Public FA, Inc. (PFA) is an independent financial advisor to state and local governments, their agencies and authorities, and to non-profit organizations and other organizations that raise funds in the tax exempt and taxable capital markets. PFA helps our clients devise comprehensive financial strategies that meet their long-term funding and debt management objectives. Since 2001, we have served as an advisor on more than 92 transactions totaling in excess of $3 billion and have consistently ranked among the top Financial Advisors in Alabama. In 2007, a five-member commission, led by Governor Bob Riley, chose PFA to assist the state sell $305 million in general obligations bonds to fund various economic development programs, which included initiatives associated with the ThyssenKrupp steel plant. PFA was also selected in 2007 to act as the Financial Advisor in the largest transaction in the history of the state - $1.1 Billion for the Alabama Public Schools and College Authority. PFA serves as technical advisor to Fannie Mae and advises public housing authorities across the United States. PFA is a nationally recognized firm that supports a diverse selection of clients in 34 states.
